All Internet Relay Chat (IRC) clients, such as the IrCQ-Net Flash client above, have a text input area where you can type messages and commands. All commands begin with a slash ( / ). For the full official documentation about IRC commands, see http://www.vulnscan.org/UnrealIRCd/unreal32docs.html.
/helpop
This little command is the help command, and the starting point from where you can learn all other commands supported by your IRC network. Type this and read the text it creates within your status tab.
Where you can chat will depend on how your computer system is set up. Some computers will connect to our chatrooms using our Flash client, which uses port 7012, but won't connect to chatrooms via Java clients or other IRC clients such as mIRC or XChat which typically use ports that are more likely to be blocked by a computer system's firewall.
If you can't access our chatrooms via the Flash client above, then the chances are likely that you can't use your web browser to connect to IRC chatrooms any other way than to use a CGI:IRC client. Due to the nature of CGI:IRC, which connects to IRC chatrooms via someone else's computer and IP as proxy, CGI:IRC services are commonly abused and are therefore hard to find.
To put a chatroom on your website, simply select which chatroom you want from the list below. Each chatroom page has some HTML code to get you started. You should already have a basic understanding of HTML and Web Hosting. All code is valid XHTML 1.0 Strict for optimum accessibility.
